Matt Cheney

As the managing partner of Chapter Three, I work directly with our team and our clients to deliver the highest quality results based on both technical and business metrics.

Over the past five years, I've been instrumental in growing Chapter Three and producing websites for some of the nation’s leading companies, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions. As a formally trained librarian, I bring a necessary level of organization to the company and focuses on building sustainable work processes and practices at Chapter Three.

I'm a believer in Drupal and have contributed thousands of lines of code to the project, and helped organize many Drupal conferences and code sprints, including serving as the lead organizer for Drupalcon San Francisco in April 2010.

Outside of Chapter Three, I co-founded a cloud-based hosting platform for Drupal called Pantheon, and help run a customized fixed-gear bicycle shop called Mission Bicycle. I've traveled around the world to more than 55 countries and cook delicious vegan food using cutting-edge molecular gastronomic techniques.

Matt Cheney has a B.A. in Philosophy, History, Religious Studies, and Political Science and a M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
