Weekend Fun: A Short Promo Video For Drupal and Chapter Three LLC

Back in October, we had our first Chapter Three Summit, with Matt and Zack coming up to my neck of the woods in rural NorCal for a week of focused work and planning. It was a good time, and a model for our organization that we intend to repeat as we grow.
After five days of work, we decided to shoot a little video on Saturday before everyone split, making use of the surroundings to illustrate the power of Drupal. Here are the results, an open-source recipe for success from your friends at Chapter Three LLC, filmed on location in the State of Jefferson:
We've got a lot of ideas for more "professional" videocasting, but with footage like this in the can, how could I not cut it together? Hope you all enjoy.

Pretty funny video. I really

that video a goddamn riot
EXCELLENT use of transitions!
Loved it
I loved the video. It really cuts to the chase. Thanks for the Dojo webcast, I’ve been looking for something like that for a while.
Keep it up guys!
Sweeeet!
I’m lovin’ this video. I just love the way Josh throws the axe up on the table right next to the macbook. As if the macbook was just one of the tools used for splitting wood.
love it
This is hilarious. I love it. Plus, it’s pretty much right on for the reasons and motivations to choose Drupal. And that captured most of northern California as I know it.
Well, it’s a little prettier in my memory and photos but maybe that was the company I had ;)
Nicely done, but...
…it reinforces my wanting to stay in my comfy confines of Los Angeles and not wander up north… you people scare me!!
Like the Weary Boys, btw. They play quite often in our little neck of the woods, and I have a few of their tunes on my iPod.
Cheers,
Gus
my redneck life
Ha! I guess my country-living is a little bit redneck, though not very right-wing at all. And that’s a BB-gun there, just for the record. ;)
We sort of made it all up as we went along, picking up the various interesting things and things to do around the house and figuring how they could be turned into an object example of Drupal’s selling points. It’s a purely unprofessional effort, I realize, but still.
outstanding - rednecks
you guys going after right wing NRA rednecks?
