Who doesn’t love a good barter, especially one involving donuts?
Chemistry between West Oakland’s Pepples Donuts, formerly People’s Donuts, and the Chapter Three team was instantaneous; two days and twelve dozen donuts later, PepplesDonuts.com was born. The goal of the partnership: to build a website that is easy to manage, encourages user interaction and increases aesthetic draw (all while enjoying the finest vegan donuts on the west coast.)
The original site has that old-school 90’s charm, but the increase in usability alone is worth the upgrade…

The “Locations” page displays all Bay Area retailers stocking Pepples Donuts….
Not pictured here: the donut blog, the place for seasonal flavor updates, ingredient modifications and any other breaking business developments.
Delivery promotion and expansion were kept in mind during the site’s construction. Pepple’s business expands through word-of-mouth, by happy customers asking their local shop-keep to add to the delivery route. The newly launched site encourages the buzz with homepage shout outs, links to social networking sites, and a new contact page equipped with a spam proof email form. The job just got easier for a business whose success hinges not just on its capacity to capture an audience’s attention, but also its ability to motivate them to action.
