Chapter Three is taking part in two pre-conference training sessions for DrupalCon San Francisco, and we don't want you to miss out (sign up ends tomorrow)! We're proud to be on the forefront of Drupal training by offering one of the first Drupal 7 training sessions by the man who wrote the book himself -- Sign up here!

We're also taking part in the Drupal Scalability and Performance workshop with a whole host of other Drupal stars! Unfortunately, it is already sold out, but we'll be talking about our contributions to high-performance hosting both at our booth and in one panel and one session.

Site Building with Drupal 7 -- April 18th

In this one day course you'll walk through creating a site using the soon-to-be-released Drupal 7. Based on Jacob's newly released book Beginning Drupal 7, the course will step you through creating new content types, adding images, creating custom user profiles, managing users, and more. You'll walk away from this course with an introduction to the new features in Drupal 7 and ready to tackle any topic at Drupalcon.

This course will cover the following topics:

  • Drupal 7, what's new and how you can use it
  • Building a site with Drupal 7
  • Creating new content types
  • Using Drupal 7's Image Styles
  • Exploring Drupal 7's new fields
  • Drupal 7's new Dashboard functionality

Throughout the course the differences between Drupal 6 and Drupal 7 will be highlighted. If you are new to Drupal this course will give you a jumpstart into the latest version of Drupal. Experienced Drupal users will get a crash course in Drupal 7 and leave prepared for Drupalcon.

Every attendee will also receive a copy of the newly released book Beginning Drupal 7 written by the course's instructor, Jacob Redding.

Cost for this full-day training is only $300! Make sure you jump on this deal

A panel by Josh Koenig, along with David StraussMatt Westgate, Robert Douglass, and Narayan Newton.

The power and flexibility of Drupal has made it one of the fastest growing open source projects in the world. This session is not an introduction: it is designed for those who are already versed in the underlying technologies for powering Drupal. It will focus on the main use cases: how to run in a Linux hosting environment using Apache as the webserver with mod_php and MySQL as your database.
