Speaker:

David Strauss CTO/co-founder of Pantheon

This talk covered:

Visitors won't wait on slow pages, and Google's even reluctant to rank them highly. Unless you want to rewrite your site in Java or deploy HHVM at scale, and best answer is better caching. Yet, a cache is only as useful as its hit rate and freshness, two goals often in competition. In this presentation, we'll look at Drupal 8's integration with web standards like Surrogate-Key, Surrogate-Control, and Vary headers to deliver fast, fresh hits to users around the world.

Next up:  Tuesday, September  12th at 6:30 pm Square Platform Solutions for Drupal Developers
