Acquia Training Partner

Chapter Three offers a wide variety of public and private training courses, and has been extremely involved in education at Drupal events such as Drupalcon DC, DrupalCon Paris, the Bay Area Drupal Camps, SXSW Interactive 2010, Do it with Drupal, and other events around the globe. We've offered customized private Drupal training to universities and organizations.

Our public sessions are held at AcademyX directly across from the Transamerica Tower in the heart of the Financial District steps away from China Town and North Beach. This facility supplies computers for all attendees, and Chapter Three brings breakfast, so all you need is an appetite for learning to start your day. There is an hour lunch break to enjoy the hundreds of dining options within blocks of the training center.

About the Trainers

Jacob Redding has been a trainer for over 10 years, starting as a Microsoft Certified Trainer. He has given workshops across the globe in China, Jordan, New York and San Francisco (including leading Chapter Three's Beginning Drupal for Site Builders and Drupal Module Development courses). His teaching skills have helped over 1,000 people learn technological skills ranging from Microsoft Server technologies to Unix/Linux servers, Apache fundamentals, TCP/IP routing, and over the past two years classes on Beginning Drupal up to Advanced Drupal development and scalability. As a Drupal community member, Jacob has been working in Drupal for over three years and has developed modules freely available on drupal.org. His book Beginning Drupal 7 is released on April 19th (Preorder).

Matt Cheney, co-founder and managing partner of Chapter Three, has worked with private clients and has trained over 200 participants on various aspects of Drupal, from site building to administration. He's represented Chapter Three at several Drupal conventions and camps, teaching sessions to help build the community and participate in the open-source nature of this content management system.

Jennifer Lampton is one of Chapter Three's principal trainers, working with Matt, she has helped train hundreds of students for private clients, and working with Jacob, she helped found our training division. She also helps organize the Bay Area Drupal Camp which helps encourage the exchange of ideas among developers, themers and Drupal designers. Additionally, Jen has worked with a team on organizing DrupalCon San Francisco where, for the first time, there will be paid training sessions preceding the conference. She has been working with Drupal for four years and has authored several modules.

Josh Koenig is another of the three founders. Josh has been active in the Drupal community for seven years, and he helped found the Drupal Dojo: a forum where Drupal developers can help teach those just starting and answer unique questions. Josh is also Chapter Three's CTO, where he has been instrumental in developing Pantheon, a series of web tools made to make Drupal in the Cloud easy. Because he helped build it, he is the lead trainer for Mercury, the first Pantheon tool. He also helps train our clients how to manage and expand their sites through private training sessions.
