Course description
This one-day course teaches you how to use Panels, a popular Drupal module that provides a drag-and-drop interface for creating and managing flexible, complex layouts. You'll learn how you can have different versions the same page under various conditions. You’ll learn how to set up templates to control the display of your content globally across your site. You’ll discover how to embed Views within Panels using Views content pane displays, and see all the benefits of choosing these over blocks. Finally, you'll see how you can use the powerful page manager to take control of any existing page on your site.

Prerequisites
Previous experience using Drupal, and a basic understanding of nodes, comments, blocks, modules, themes, custom content types, fields and views. Chapter Three’s Drupal Site Building: Days 1-3 will satisfy this requirement.
