The Problem
SEMI is one of the world’s leading technology membership organizations supporting the semiconductor industry across the entire supply chain. SEMI’s website had grown organically for several years, but lacked focus and thoughtful content strategy. Inconsistent layouts, scattered resources that were difficult to find, overly complicated navigation and lack of strong visual assets needed to be addressed.
Our Solution
Through close collaboration we vetted priorities, user scenarios and content workflow pain points as part of the new site strategy. We then created a design and structure that emphasized strong visuals, simplified the sitewide navigation and connected it to organizational messaging. We also built layouts to emphasize reusable components, and created a comprehensive resource library -- a first for SEMI -- that allows access to a central repository of key assets and thought leadership.
I'm so happy to wind up the year with the launch of the new SEMI.org website. Thanks to the team working through every detail at Chapter Three... Wow! Great job!
